Description Spanish-American War Memorial fountain on the northeast corner of 8th Avenue and Oak Street, near the 1898 Lane County Courthouse. Scene shows close-up of fountain with brick and stone base and wrought iron scrollwork supporting lantern above fountain. Courthouse can be seen in the background; both structures razed in 1959. Fountain was erected by Women's Republican Patriotic League in 1901.
